We’re bringing the Caribbean to Bournemouth beach every Sunday at Aruba Bar and Restaurant. Our all-day Caribbean Sundays showcase our exotic Caribbean menu, great cocktails, and tropical entertainment for all the family.
Authentic Caribbean dishes
If you can’t face another roast potato this Sunday, you can indulge yourself instead with authentic Caribbean dishes including Jerk chicken, salt fish & ackee, curry goat, and tasty sides such as rice and black beans or plantain fritters. Whatever the weather outside, this is sunshine on a plate. If you like your food spicy, you’ll love our Caribbean dishes with the Jerk seasoning, but there are plenty of mild slow-cooked stews or BBQ dishes for those who just want tender, succulent pork, chicken and beef for their Sunday lunch.
Classic Caribbean cocktails
At Aruba Bar and Restaurant, we’re famous for our Caribbean cocktails, the best in town. Using the finest white and dark aged rums from Jamaica and the Dominican Republic, we can shake you up any of your tropical favourites on the spot, whether it’s a Mojito with Brugal Blanco, sugar and fresh mint, or Aruba’s Rum Punch, with Brugal Spiced and Anejo Rums along with fresh orange, lime and pineapple juices. You’ll also find the only bar this side of the Bermuda Triangle serving Ting Wray, a refreshing but wicked blend of Wray & Nephew rum and Ting grapefruit soda. Pace yourself with this one!
Fancy a shot and mixing your own shots? You can sign up for a Caribbean Cocktail Masterclass with our expert bartender to show you how to get exactly the right blend from each flavour.
Bring your loudest shirt, your dancing shoes and a laid back attitude. We’ll take care of the Caribbean. There’s a party every Sunday at Aruba Bar and Restaurant, with live music, LOTS of dancing, and even hula and limbo competitions. You’ll also find Dr. Balloonman on hand to twist up some magical creations for the little ones.
We can’t wait to see you at our next Caribbean Sunday. Book your table now to reserve your table.
